Setup Guide
This section provides a step-by-step guide to onboarding with Payloft and integrating the Payment Gateway API into your application.
Step 1: Create Your Payloft Account
Start by registering your business on the Payloft platform.
Visit the Payloft Website.
Click Get Started to begin the sign-up process.
Complete the registration form with accurate business and contact information.
Submit the form to create your account.
Step 2: Verify Email & Retrieve Test Credentials
After registration, you will receive an email to verify your account.
Click the verification link in the email to confirm your registration.
Once verified, your test credentials will be emailed to you.
These include:
Credential | Description |
|---|---|
Merchant ID | A unique identifier for your business account. |
Secret Key | A cryptographic key used to sign API requests. |
You can also access your credentials at any time from your Payloft Dashboard under Settings → API Keys.
Step 3: Review Documentation & Start Integration
Before building your integration:
Read through the API Documentation to understand available endpoints and request formats.
Use your test credentials to simulate real payment flows in the sandbox environment.
Ensure you’re following all security guidelines.
Step 4: Complete Business Verification (KYC)
To go live, your business must be verified.
Log in to the Payloft Onboarding Portal.
Navigate to Settings → Business.
Provide business registration details and upload required KYC documents.
Step 5: Request Migration to Production
After successful integration testing:
Log in to the Onboarding Portal.
Click Migrate to Production from the dashboard.
Our team will review your request and coordinate a UAT (User Acceptance Testing) session with you.
Step 6: Participate in Testing & Final Review
You will be invited to conduct:
System Integration Testing (SIT) – Technical validation of your setup.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – End-to-end testing with Payloft’s QA team.
Once all tests are passed, we’ll begin the production onboarding process.
Step 7: Go Live
After UAT approval:
Replace your test credentials with your production credentials.
You can retrieve production credentials from Settings → API Keys in your dashboard.
Perform a small pilot transaction to verify live transaction processing.
